We believe people are more fulfilled when they live a purpose-driven life. We provide an opportunity for people to easily connect and give through real estate transactions by devoting a portion of the sales commission to support Shriners Hospitals for Children.

No fundraising is required. You do not need to have the capacity to give- only the desire to give. Your real estate transaction can seamlessly redirect a pre-determined portion of the sales commission directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children, upon close of escrow.

Your real estate transaction can seamlessly redirect a pre-determined portion of the sales commission to Shriners Hospitals, upon close of escrow. Everyone in the process will receive accounting of the pre-determined gift amount and will know when the funds are given to the hospital. We ensure transparency throughout the process as well as credit the givers. REALTORS® Who Shrine is a purpose-driven organization that focuses on making real estate transactions more meaningful.

Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. The hospital specializes in pediatric burn care, orthopedics, spinal cord injury care, rehabilitation and pediatric surgery, including chest wall reconstruction, bowel management and colorectal issues. All care and services are provided regardless of ability to pay.
Shriners Hospitals for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies on the generosity of donors and programs like REALTORS® Who Shrine.
How It Works
1. Request a List
Start by requesting to get connected with a Realtor Who Shrine certified agent. Agents come from all brokerages and have gone through the process of pledging a portion of a sales commission to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
2. RWS Refers Agent
REALTORS® Who Shrine will send you a list of one or more highly qualified agents that are expert in your market area and the type of home and amenities you desire. You can also request for your agent to participate in this process if s/he is currently not involved.
3. Agent Selection
Select the agent that you are most comfortable with and start your journey in buying or selling your home, knowing this specific transaction fulfills a much greater purpose. It’s a way for you to give, with no additional money out-of-pocket!
4. Tracking
Once you enter this process, REALTORS® Who Shrine will closely track and monitor the progress to ensure your wish is honored in the transaction. An escrow account is opened, whereby the sales proceeds are placed with no middle person involvement.
5. Close Transaction
Congratulations on closing your real estate transaction! As part of the escrow closing process and requirement, the pre-agreed donation percentage is allocated directly to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California.
6. Donation Made
REALTORS® Who Shrine will alert Shriners Hospitals for Children of your gift and will coordinate the proceed distribution to ensure everything is completed. Every gift is made in the giver’s name. This is our way of honoring your generosity to the children’s hospital.
